Empowering the Re-entry community through support and compassion.

Two Hearts One Mission was founded on the belief that healing, justice, and transformation begin with connection.

As a community-led organization rooted in lived experience, we stand with system-impacted individuals and families through every step of reentry — from housing and education to recovery and advocacy. We don’t just offer services. We offer belonging — because dignity, stability, and lasting change are things we build together.

Our Purpose

As a Los Angeles based nonprofit 501 c(3), we strive to support the reentry community in becoming self-sufficient and successful in everything they do. Two Hearts One Mission was born from real life, real loss, and lived experience. As a system-impacted individual who has walked this road personally, our founder understands what it means to carry grief, shame, and trauma while still trying to rebuild.

During time spent incarcerated and through continued work facilitating workshops inside prisons, one truth became clear — many programs address housing, jobs, and reentry resources, but very few make space for the deep emotional healing that makes true transformation possible. Inside prison, grief looks different. People are mourning loved ones, lost time, broken relationships, their identity, and the life they imagined.

Two Hearts One Mission was created to fill that gap — offering safe, judgment-free spaces where system-impacted individuals and families can feel seen, heard, and reminded that they are more than their worst mistake. We believe that when people have the right support, they can grow, heal, and create new meaning in their lives.
